The application for the examination usually has to be signed in front of a notary public. This is often accompanied by a sample of the applicant’s handwriting which must also be written and signed in front of the notary and possibly a photograph being certified as a true likeness.
Admission to the Bar is conducted through the Board of Bar Examiners of the state in which you are applying. While the admission process may vary significantly from state to state, the process usually involves applying to sit for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) and taking the MPRE.
